What is Bocce?

I and the other NBBA member are sure that Bocce is the most elegant and evolved outdoor sport but some interested parties are less than convinced. One might think that NBBA members come from a rich lineage of Bocce competition spanning back to the sports inception but in reality we are all first generation players. Shocking, I know. I cannot speak for my fellow ballers but the path to my enlightenment came from a simple search for two things, one, Bocce history and rules on Wikipedia and two, for an affordable set of Bocce balls from Dicks Sporting goods for which I had a gift card. While I am fully advocating for fishing for truth via the internet, I am not necessarily preaching Dicks Sporting Goods as the gospel of Bocce equipment. I am pretty sure that you can find sets of all price ranges everywhere. I know of at least three different outlets in Lower Manhattan alone. Please read and memorize the rules as there are applicable, though often in an abstract way, to every aspect of life and if you are interested in playing, send an email and we will start you on the process of filling out the forms, credit checks, and gathering your dues.
